You might have heard of a special or limited edition Whisky, well this one tops the lot off! The last time the Tartan Army had the pleasure of travelling to watch Scotland compete in a World Cup was back in France 1998. To celebrate seeing our national team back on the world stage after 28 long years, what could be more fitting than a whisky that was distilled back when we last qualified?!
In association with Fife Independent Bottlers (FiB Whisky) based in Kirkcaldy, we are pleased to introduce a VERY special opportunity to buy a VERY special Whisky; ‘Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal Charity Bottling‘ and it’s limited to only 585 bottles! This limited edition, has been available to buy since 0900 on Friday 13th (only unlucky if you miss out!) and for EACH sale, FiB are very kindly donating £5 to the Sunshine Appeal.
Cost is £86 per bottle (remember you’re also supporting the Sunshine Appeal), with shipping commencing from 20th March onwards.
Filled back on October 6th 1998, these casks have been maturing patiently. And now – like Scotland – their time has come. Distilled at Strathclyde Distillery across the Clyde from Glasgow Green, you’re hit with waves of toffee and bubble gum on the nose, pure custard slice on the palate, and a satisfying semi-dry spice on the finish.
