Our 95th consecutive donation was to KEPAKY a children’s charity predominately based in Limassol, Cyprus, but who also assist children throughout the Island. Paphos was chosen for the location of the presentation as that is where most of the Scotland fans based themselves prior to the match.

KEPAKY do great work in providing school essentials, food bank support to children as well as helping them integrate into society through sports. They also support Ukrainian children who were displaced and assist them into Cypriot culture. They have a varied programme assisting many different aspects of social and psychological issues with kids. Their motto is “Joining Hands, Creating Joy” which fits perfectly with the aim of the Sunshine Appeal “To bring a ray of sunshine to children wherever Scotland play an International football match”.

The donation presentation was arranged in Flairs bar in the heart of Paphos which resulted in a huge turnout from TA foot soldiers. A few of the KEPAKY staff attended the presentation and talked about the fantastic work they do with the children, Around 10 of the children who they support also came along and took centre-stage of the presentation to a wonderful reception from the Tartan Army when they received the cheque for £4,500 (around 5,000 Euros).
