Nix Prabhu Full Profile

Nix’s first ever Scotland game was v Malta in September 2016. It also happened to be her honeymoon and she fell in love all over again….with the Tartan Army. Since her move to Scotland from Canada in 2017, Nix has been a staunch supporter of both the Men’s and Women’s National Teams, travelling all over the world to cheer them on.

Nix’s first introduction to the Sunshine Appeal was at the 2019 Women’s World Cup donation in Paris. Since then, she has raised money for TASA in various ways from buying copious amounts of merch (everyone gets a TASA beanie for Christmas!) to attending fundraising events, to face-painting at the 2024 Euros, and most recently, conceptualising and planning the “Everywhere We Brew” TASA beer collaborations with multiple Scottish breweries.

When asked what made her choose to support Scotland, she said: “The friendships I have made via the Tartan Army are absolutely priceless. The match results might not always be cheery, but the knowledge that collectively we can make an away trip that much more meaningful via a donation to a local children’s charity; that is the best feeling ever!”

Nix joined the Steering Committee in 2026 and looks forward to helping take TASA forward to the World Cup and beyond.
